Historically, SaaS applications have been disparate causing end user confusion and leading to poor user acceptance. Using the SharePoint App Model, developers can bring those applications under one roof without disenchanting end-users or frightening the IT pros. I’ll review experiences from real-world projects and how to integrate a cloud-based applications with SharePoint 2013. Attendees will learn important tips and best practices for how to leverage the App Model to augment SharePoint while maintaining a consistent look and feel, emphasizing searchability, and ensuring security.
