Office 365 Planner Deep Dive

Last year, Microsoft introduced Office 365 Planner, a new work management tool, meant to compete with solutions such as Trello in light project management scenarios. Planner is deeply connected to Office 365 Groups and leverages many of its features.

In this session, we’ll explain the purpose of Office 365 Planner and describe its main features. You’ll learn about the architecture that supports plans and how they relate to Office 365 groups. We’ll discuss which management options are in place and how to extend and integrate Planner functionality into your custom applications.

In this session you will learn:

  • What is Office 365 Planner
  • What problems it solves and how it works under the hood
  • How Plans are managed
  • How you can leverage the Graph API to extended and integrate Planner into your custom applications

This session was delivered at the Collab365 Global Conference 2016 and was presented by Andre Vala.
